“ LE MANIFESTE D’ IRAZU”

DOCUMENT FINAL DU DEVELOPPEMENT DE LA PROPOSITION
DE CALI RIVERA 1995 - 2007

PROLOGUE

En 1995, je rencontrais un ami alors que j’étais en voyage en Allemagne. Me trouvant face à la récente démolition du Mur de Berlin, commença alors pour moi un nouveau chapitre de ma vie qui m’amènerait à mettre la première pierre à une réflexion à propos de l’importance de la planète en tant qu’élément sacré et de sa relation avec l’être humain en tant que principal responsable de son sauvetage. Cette inquiétude me fit développer une série de propositions liées les unes aux autres, avec une direction à suivre : Réussir, grâce à une prise de conscience
à faire changer de comportement, afin d’avoir un impact moins nocif sur le milieu ambiant.

Cette traversée a pour point de départ les 4 éléments, en prenant en compte les évènements les plus récents et connaissant notre responsabilité quant au résultat si nous omettions le caractère sacré de notre Mère la Terre.

Changement d’ère

« Conscient de la réalité et la basant sur l’énergie et les sentiments qui émergent de la spiritualité qui font de nous des êtres humains, la peinture m’a amené de l’abstrait conceptuel
au surréalisme et au réalisme magique.

Il ne s’agit pas de se situer dans une niche de la tendance mondiale mais il s’agit de découvrir, créer, innover, proposer et sentir ce que nous faisons en connaissance de cause et avec le désir inné chez l’artiste de communiquer sa proposition de la manière la plus honnête possible.

Ainsi, mon sentiment se transforme en mouvement, en poésie et en chanson ; telle une évidence, ma proposition pour commencer ce siècle intitulée « Derrière la fenêtre », dans laquelle se conjuguent le théâtre, la musique et la danse, présente au niveau plastique un standard de la « Femme » qui dans la douleur et entre les lignes d’ambiance surréelle donne la bienvenue à une siècle d’espérance de changement.

« Femmes de couleurs sur une planète sans frontières, sans guerre. Une vision utopique reflétée par des êtres oniriques en méditation déguisée. Images qui crient la tolérance au travers de la rémission et du silence, reflet du côté féminin de l’Humanité. La spiritualité est ce qui met tout en mouvement, l’espoir pour ce siècle que nous abordons » Cali Rivera 2000

CALI RIVERA 1995-2007

 

VORWORT

1995 befand ich mich zusammen mit einem Bekannten auf einer Deutschlandreise. Als ich vor der kürzlich niedergerissenen Mauer stand, begann für mich eine neues Lebenskapitel. Dieses Kapitel führte zu einem Besinnungsvorschlag über die Wichtigkeit der Erde als heilige Instanz und das Verhältnis zum Menschen, als hauptsächlicher Verantwortlicher zur Überlebenserlangung. Dieses starke Interesse erlaubt die Entwicklung von miteinander verflochtenen Vorschlägen, mit einem Ziel: durch einen Bewusstseinstand ein weniger umweltschädliches Verhaltens zu erreichen.

Diese Bewusstseinreise hat als Startpunkt die 4 Elemente, wobei die relevantesten Weltereignisse und die Erkennung unserer Verantwortung für die Ergebnisse, die sich durch unseren Bewusstseinsmangel über den heiligen Charakter unserer Erde entwickelt haben, berücksichtigt werden.

Wechsel im Zeitalter

“Durch das Erkennen der Wirklichkeit, und in Bezug zu der Energie und zu den Gefühlen, die aus der menschengestaltenden Innerlichkeit heraustreten, hat mich die Malerei von dem konzeptuellen Abstrakt bis zum Surrealismus und magischen Realismus geführt.

Es handelt sich nicht um die Klassifizierung von Welttendenzen, sondern um das Endecken, das Schaffen, die Neuerungen vorzuführen, das Vorschlagen, unser Handeln wissentlich zu fühlen, und des ureigenen Künstlerwunsches, den eigenen Vorschlag so ehrlich wie nur möglich zu kommunizieren.

Aus diesem Grunde verwandelt sich mein Gefühl in Bewegung, in Poesie und in Lieder; was durch meinen Vorschlag zum Zeitalterbeginn ‘Hinter dem Fenster’ beurkundet wird; wo das Theater, die Musik und der Tanz in Zusammenklang der ‘Frau’, auf plastischem Niveau geformt, ein Denkmal setzt, das mit Leid und surrealistischer Anpassung ein Zeitalter mit Änderungshoffnungen begrüßt.

“THE IRAZU MANIFESTO”

 

Preface

 In 1995 I found myself next to a familiar face on a trip to Germany.  I was standing in front of the recently demolished Berlin Wall. This began a chapter in my life that would lead me to initiate a reflection oriented artwork. It had to do with the importance of the planet’s sacredness, and its relationship to human beings, as the main element responsible for humanity’s survival.  This particular concern led me to develop a series of interwoven art pieces which had a clear bearing: To, through a change of awareness, arrive at behavior that is less detrimental to the environment.

The journey begins with the 4 elements as point of departure. It takes into account relevant world events, acknowledging our responsibility for the results brought about by a lack of awareness of Mother Earth’s sacredness.

BEHIND THE WINDOW

Change of era

“Mindful of reality and based on the energy and sentiment that emerges from the spirituality which makes us human, painting has made me go from the conceptual/abstract to surrealism, to magical realism.

It has nothing to do with labeling oneself according to world trends, but rather, with discovering, creating, innovating, proposing and feeling what one does. Knowing why one does it, along with the artist’s innate desire to communicate his/her work in the most honest way.
 
For this reason my sentiment transforms itself into movement, poetry and song, as shown by my art piece for the beginning of this century, ‘Behind the Window’. In this work, theater, dance and music come together creating, a banner to ‘woman’, that with sorrow and surreal ambiance welcomes a new century with hope for change.

“Women of diverse colors, in a  planet with no boundaries, without war.  An Utopian vision reflected in oneiric beings of disguised meditation. Images that scream tolerance through surrender and silence, thus reflecting the feminine aspect of humanity.  Spirituality is the prime mover, it is the hope for the century we are initiating.”
