After fifteen years of absolute dedication to my Taller del Artista (The Artist’s Studio) project and the creation of these sacred cloths, I still consider myself an apprentice in the complex world of textiles. I have much respect for this medium and make an effort to reawaken its sacred nature through banners that pray for humanity and the world. I have been tirelessly making them since 1999, in the spirit of someone who prepares for a medieval or spiritual war.

The new pieces have been made with great care, and with invaluable materials. A team comprised of wonderful people, the ‘cloth workers’: Paula Ortiz, Shirley Portugués and Martha Ruiz, have lovingly and carefully worked in this collection. The first of the pieces in the series, ‘Transmutación’ (‘Transmutation’), formed part of the international exhibition ‘Milagro’ (‘Miracle’), in the Central Museum of Art and Textiles in Lodz, Poland, in April 2014.

A song for freedom.
The creation of these symbols assembled and printed in the form of banners, in diverse materials, brings an important intrinsic message for Humanity.

A profund desire to find equilibrium and raising our voice in silence.

I feel inspired by the assurance of having completed one more cycle, which places us in the sixth orbit around the sun. The birth of a new era brings us closer to Universal Spirit that makes us Human and allows us to face a new rebirth.

At this moment in time, we must choose our future: to establish ourselves as a species that threatens the planet, or to evolve into a new state of consciousness allowing us to accept what we are, one sole species HUMAN. This is the time for unification. It is time for necessary awakening of brotherhood between all communities in the planet. A key moment where Love is the way.

The ideological struggle about the nature of the Creator of the Universe has been a war without truce. Fanatical convictions about multiple baseless beliefs. Throughout the ages, this struggle seems to have found no centre. This is due to politics backed by great economic supremacies and to false prophets that masquerade as religious leaders. They revolve the masses around false deities, whose face seeks only to increase the economic welfare of the world’s superpowers.

Que el Dios de Abraham de Isaac e Ismael; la luz incandescente de la memoria del infinito, la fuerza suprema del universo, fuente iluminadora de monjes y chamanes, el Dios sin rostro creador del Cosmos, fuente del sonido y acción sin palabras, nos haga sentir dentro de nosotros el alma de la Tierra y nos revele la sabiduría que en todo existe. Que la verdad escrita en el alma del destino se manifieste en este tiempo que habitamos y se terminen así las religiones inventadas para crear conflictos que destruyen la naturaleza y dividen a los humanos, a los países, a los hermanos. Que el poder de la oración deje una estela de AMOR en el Mundo y nos convenza de que todos somos Uno.

1. Plegaria por los Rohingyas ( plegaria de los viajeros)

Los Rohingyas son un pueblo musulmán perseguido por el miedo y olvidado por el mundo. Aunque por generaciones han habitado Birmania, se les niegan sus derechos y no se les reconoce la ciudadanía, han sido víctimas de persecución desmedida y odio afianzado por un gobierno central temeroso de la unidad. No pueden viajar o casarse sin permiso y no pueden poseer ningún pedazo de tierra. La persecución parece ser lo único a lo que tienen derecho. Los Rohingyas, indígenas de Arakan - actual Rackine- segundo estado más pobre de Birmania, son negados por todos. Son inmigrantes desechados, olvidados por el mundo. Las amargas memorias históricas los hacen ver como una despreciable amenaza frente a sus detractores: rivales fantasmas que los persiguen por la jungla y el mar. Que la Madre tierra los proteja, que acabe su dolor y vuelen lejos a un cielo de paz y libertad.

2. Plegaria por los países Bálticos

Estonia, Livonia, Letonia, Curlandia, Prusia o Prusia Oriental y Lituania.
Estos países que rodean el Mar Báltico en Europa, fueron esclavos por muchísimos años. Víctimas del dolor y el empoderamiento del nazismo, esta región del planeta -antiguamente llamada la Unión Soviética- está llena de esperanza y optimismo, pero perseguida por una historia escrita con sangre. Los fantasmas del dolor y la esclavitud han marcado su cielo. Suecia, Noruega, Rusia, Finlandia, Polonia, Alemania y Dinamarca forman parte de este grupo de naciones vecinas del Mar Báltico, aunque en pasajes de la historia, algunos de ellos se convirtieron en sus opresores. Una vez más, el deseo de poder y el egoísmo del ser humano dejó su huella. ¡Que todos los pueblos encuentren su centro, que los aires de paz y restauración constantes no mermen y que se llenen de amor todas estas tierras!

3. Plegaria por los países musulmanes.

Cuarenta y seis naciones forman las tierras musulmanas. Se extienden por África, Asia y Europa. Aunque abismalmente distintas unas de otras en lo relativo a la riqueza, la historia o la composición étnica, todas están unidas por una religión común:
EL ISLAM. El Islam es una ideología gestada desde el siglo VII por su profeta Mahoma. Algunos países pertenecieron por largo tiempo al imperio Turco y en la Primera Guerra, Mundial algunos fueron anexados a los imperios coloniales europeos. Sin embargo, la mayor parte de estos países se independizaron después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Estos nuevos países musulmanes no han logrado generalizar la justicia ni la igualdad de derechos, existen grandes diferencias entre unos y otros. El petróleo y riquezas que algunos -como Arabia Saudí, Kuwait y Brunei- poseen, son absolutamente contrastantes con otros países que se encuentran entre los más pobres del mundo -como Afganistán y Sudán-, cuyo crecimiento demográfico no les favorece. Estos y otros motivos los ha envuelto en múltiples conflictos en las últimas décadas, que alcanzan dimensiones planetarias.
Los territorios que han ocupado Palestina e Israel, no sabemos cuál será su destino mañana. Esta tierra está empapada de sangre inocente. Un idílico Dios mal entendido por las distintas doctrinas, los mantiene en un constante odio entre hermanos y la intervención de pueblos lejanos a ellos incrementa el conflicto poniendo en riesgo la estabilidad de todo el planeta. Todo a causa de deidades inventadas, trazadas bajo los lineamientos del egoísmo. ¡Que se manifieste la luz divina y le de discernimiento a cada hombre y mujer de estas naciones: hermanas todas!.

4. Plegaria por Siria.

Una de las más devastadoras guerras del siglo XXI da inicio en Siria en el año 2011. Movidos un poco por otros conflictos que se habían dado desde el 2010 en regiones de algunos países árabes, grupos de ciudadanos se levantan contra el estado en una serie de protestas. La rebelión exige respeto por los derechos humanos y acusan al gobierno de ser corrupto, sanguinario y violento. El estado por su parte les responde sin piedad y nace así un conflicto de carácter universal donde se asoman grandes potencias como Rusia, China y Estados Unidos. La guerra civil en Siria al 2014 ya había dejado más de 200 mil muertos de los cuales más de 63 mil eran civiles. Los refugiados siguen sumándose a la alarmante suma de 3.000 000. En medio del conflicto, el gobierno Sirio ha presentado crisis diplomáticas con Turquía, Israel Y Líbano: estamos frente al caos absoluto y la incapacidad de dialogar reina en ambos bandos del conflicto. Diversas organizaciones los acusan de haber cometido graves violaciones a los derechos humanos y crímenes de guerra.
¡Que la transmutación universal no se haga esperar y desaparezca el odio! ¡Que las asperezas desaparezcan! ¡Que la piedad reine y la Diosa Madre los amamante a todos!

5. Plegaria por la tierra de Israel

Desde 1917 se entreteje la encrucijada de este pueblo bendito, en busca de un hogar nacional judío. La declaración Bafour publicada el 2 de noviembre de ese año en el Reino Unido, ya apuntaba a ofrecer un nicho a un pueblo ancestralmente perseguido. Disturbios incitados se asoman a lo largo del tiempo. La tierra de Israel es la misma tierra palestina. El dolor y el miedo han provocado nefastos éxodos entre estos pueblos que nos dejan a todos como la peor especie del planeta. La muy bombardeada franja de Gaza también es Tierra Santa pero parece que por esos lares no existe el respeto y el derecho a una vida digna. La religión no parece ayudar en nada. Este es un rezo para todos, palestinos, Israelíes y árabes. Es una súplica profunda por la llamada tierra santa y por todas las culturas que a lo largo de la historia han habitado en ella.

6. Plegaria por los Huicholes de la Sierra Mexicana

Son los hijos de la Sierra Madre Occidental -de los estados de Nayarit y Jalisco- que permanecen puros desde tiempos de la conquista y pese a la imposición de la sociedad mestiza moderna.
Su sentido de comunidad, su devoción a la tierra y su sencillez, contrasta con sus maravillosas obras de arte multicolor. Su misticismo nace del azul iridiscente del mar, bañado de la luz inmensa de la madre luna. Pocos son los grupos étnicos en México que conservan tan profundamente sus creencias, cultos y tradiciones como los Huicholes.
Guerreros de lo sobrenatural. Un pueblo de artistas que se ha mantenido indemne de influencia externa a lo largo de los siglos. Guardianes del peyote. Creadores de un arte de símbolos maravillosos hechos con chaquiras multicolores y estambre. A ellos el crecimiento de la sociedad moderna les ha arrebatado sus sagradas tierras. La imposición cultural, las políticas de crecimiento y la minería atentan contra sus derechos.
¡Que ésta plegaria vuele lejos con alas de mariposa azul! ¡Que su cultura y manera ancestral de vida se respeten y se mantenga íntegra su humanidad! ¡Que sus mantos acuíferos no se vean afectados con la minería! y ¡que los espíritus ancestrales salgan en defensa de la casa de sus dioses!

7.Plegaria por el reino de Butthan

Ubicado en la cordillera del Himalaya -entre India y China- se encuentra un país de ensueño. El país más feliz del mundo: menos de un millón de habitantes en poco más de 34 mil kilómetros cuadrados. Este país mide la calidad de vida de su gente por su felicidad. Esto se conoce como Felicidad Nacional Bruta, en lugar del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB), y establece así un equilibrio entre lo espiritual y lo material. Definitivamente un ejemplo a seguir por todas las naciones del planeta.
El Budismo y el Hinduismo son sus dos pilares espirituales más importantes. Desafortunadamente con el pasar de los años su estabilidad se va viendo amenazada por la pobreza, el desempleo y la deuda externa. Hoy elevo una plegaria por este santuario natural, lleno de monjes e incansables rezos! pido al gran espíritu que los fantasmas del dinero y la modernización no quiebren sus alas y que la felicidad siga siendo su estandarte, para que su luz contagie al mundo en este renacimiento que estamos cruzando.

8.Plegaria por las mujeres de Turquía

Ante los ojos vigilantes del mundo entero, Turquía es un país más. Islámico por decisión propia, su arcaico sistema patriarcal a cubierto con un velo de duda y misterio a sus víctimas heroínas. El miedo y la desigualdad son extremos y causa mucho dolor. La violencia familiar, sus pretendidos ajusticiamientos (asesinatos por honor), suicidios inducidos y la discriminación son parte del día a día. El cansancio empieza a ser evidente. Pese a las nuevas políticas jurídicas y a su acercamiento a la comunidad europea, nacer hombre o mujer marca una abismal diferencia en la vida de los habitantes de este antiguo imperio. “Ángeles de cristal con sus alas rotas hilvanadas de metal” así podríamos describir a sus mujeres. Este rezo clama que se elimine la brecha entre lo que ordena la ley y lo que dicta la costumbre. ¡Que la igualdad sea ya una realidad! ¡Que los aires de cambio se lleven los oscuros velos y que sus derechos sean enmendados!, ¡que la misericordia divina cubra sus tierras y ablande el corazón de sus hombres y que un nuevo orden venga para darles libertad!

revelaciones Pigmeos 9.Plegaria por África- el rezo a los Pigmeos.

Del centro de África, de la región del Congo, cazadores y recolectores viven en las selvas ecuatoriales africanas, grupos humanos caracterizados por baja estatura. Hablo de los pigmeos, ellos a lo largo de la Historia han sido explotados, exhibidos como atracción de circo, desvirtuados.
Sin derechos ni ciudadanía, estos esclavos del dolor han sido golpeados y usados desde siempre por sus propios vecinos ancestrales. Pese a más de 70 mil años de historia estos pequeños cantores son irrespetados por muchos pueblos. Ellos protegen su vida con complejísimos cantos que parecen ser un grito de auxilio a la inmensidad, sus mantras a base de alas de mariposa son la elaborada expresión de un pueblo ancestral.
Que se eleven sus cantos al cielo y que mil mariposas vuelen con un mensaje de esperanza, que el espíritu creador de la selva Jengi los proteja y los llene de amor.

revelaciones Grecia 10. Plegaria por Grecia

La cuna de la filosofía se mece en la incertidumbre, se convierte en casa de niños ausentes. Cada vez más humanos se alejan de sus costas en busca de asilo, la pobreza coquetea en la ausencia de los dioses del olimpo.
Después de los últimos cinco años, la crisis griega se acerca a un momento de definiciones que tendrán profundas consecuencias para todas las veintiocho naciones que forman la Unión Europea.
Uno solo de sus mausoleos, una sola de sus obras arquitectónicas, podría pagar su millonaria deuda externa, su legado a la humanidad parece haber sido borrado de la mente de todos. Las políticas de sus hermanos de la Unión Europea parecen advertir que lo que realmente importa es el euro (la moneda común). La austeridad no podría ser más grande en este pueblo, aun así no se rinde y procura su restablecimiento, saliéndose de una engañosa fraternidad que solamente lo ha empobrecido.
Que el azul profundo de su Mar Egeo vibre en armonía con el cosmos, que el equilibrio vuelva, que la libertad le sea dada a todas sus tierras, que sus islas sean más prosperas y que acabe este sufrimiento. Libre Y Eterna Grecia.

revelaciones Inmigrantes 11.Plegaria por los inmigrantes.

El conflicto entre israelíes y palestinos parece ser interminable, cientos de miles de personas naufragan en busca de su libertad. Cruzan el Mediterráneo procedente principalmente de Siria y Turquía.
En pleno 2015 el estado Islámico ha expulsado un envío masivo de inmigrantes que poco a poco llegan a distintas costas de Europa en busca de un respiro de reconciliación. Las reacciones sorprenden al mundo, mientras Alemania parecía abrir sus fronteras, otros levantaban barricadas y muros para evitar a sus hermanos.
El Éxodo continúa y las olas siguen arrastrando víctimas inocentes, la desesperanza y el miedo invaden Europa y el egoísmo levanta multitudes furiosas por la llegada de los inocentes.
La suerte está echada nadie quiere verse obligado a asumir el dolor ajeno, corazones endurecidos, unos por el dolor, otros por el miedo y por el egoísmo que nos caracteriza a los seres de esta tierra.
El tiempo de la unificación ha llegado, del cambio inminente. Ha empezado el fin, llegó el momento de la verdad.
Que aprenda la humanidad la lección y que todos abran sus corazones a la libertad. Que la guerra no sea en vano, que la reina madre los proteja. Que Yemanjá se manifieste y de abrigo maternal a todos los que hoy sufren el abandono de sus dioses, que de su corazón cruzado por una espada surja la esperanza en este nuevo tiempo de dolor infinito. Paz a los hombres de este planeta, descanso y sanidad a los inmigrantes de estos tiempos.

12.PLEGARIA POR LOS GENOCIDIOS

Los genocidios suceden por todo el mundo y todo el tiempo, a la vista indiferente de una humanidad cansada.
Pese a 30 mil años de coexistencia, los irracionales deseos de exterminación prevalecen. Decenas de holocaustos han ocurrido. Ya entrados en el siglo XXI siguen tiñendo de sangre la triste historia de la humanidad.
Hoy no podríamos estar más lejos de la realidad cuando se habla de Paz.

Esta es una pincelada del auto flagelo al que nos hemos expuesto los ciudadanos del planeta:
El holocausto Palestino ( 1920 – hasta hoy) , el genocidio Kurdo,( 1988) el canibalismo en Uganda,( 1971) la masacre de Ruanda,( 1962-1994) el infierno de Camboya con Pol Pot a la cabeza, la guerra de Vietnam ,(1964-1975) , la masacre francesa en Argelia ( 1956-1962) , la destrucción de Dresden,( 1945 ) la Primera Guerra Mundial con sus más de 15 millones de víctimas,( 1914-1918).
La Segunda Guerra Mundial con sus 70 millones de muertos (1935- 1945,) el holocausto de los Judíos (1933-1945). Las purgas y las hambrunas de Stanlin El terror del Congo causado por Leopoldo II, (1835-1909). Los estragos del Imperio Británico (1799-1834) , la conquista de América por los Europeos, ( 1812) y sus más de 120 millones de indígenas exterminados, la caída de la dinastía Ming,( 1368-1644) las guerra de religión en Francia( 1562-1598) ,la masacre de los Mongoles, siglo XIII. Las Cruzadas (1096-1444) - Estos son solo algunos de los crímenes más nefastos del planeta , sin olvidar el Genocidio en Guatemala y Chile.
Cierro este año 2015 con un estandarte de Paz, de cese al odio, de unión entre los pueblos. Con un brillante luto que agradece y perdona, que vibra intenso desde el Cusco hasta la India. Que ruega al Espíritu Creador el perdón por todas las almas empobrecidas por el odio, el egoísmo y el miedo.
Que la humanidad aprenda que todos somos UNO y que el Amor es el camino para vivir en sociedad: un deseo ancestral del que aún no somos conscientes.
Que se levante una voz pero en silencio, que rece por todos los humanos. Que la misericordia sea con nosotros, que se escuche fuerte un canto a la libertad desde los Bálticos y cubra toda la humanidad, que todas las voces sean una en un solo rezo, en un solo clamor. Que este lamento llegue al corazón de nuestra Madre Tierra. Que se nos conceda el perdón, y la Libertad.
Que los cantos antiguos de los monjes budistas se multipliquen y que la Paz reine en el corazón de todas las personas de este planeta.

May the God of Abraham, of Isaac and Ishmael; the brilliant light of memory of the infinite, the supreme strength of the Universe, source of enlightenment for monks and shamans, God without a face, creator of the Cosmos, source of wordless sound and action, may this God make us feel the soul the of the Earth within us and may it reveal the wisdom that is within everything that exists. May the truth that is written in the soul of destiny, be manifest in our time. And so, religions and ideologies invented to create conflict, that destroy nature and divide humanity, countries, brothers, may come to an end. May the power of prayer leave a trail of LOVE in the World and may this convince us that we are all One in rich and varied diversity.
The time of unification has arrived and there is only one creator spirit for us – Humans.

1.Supplication for the Rohingyas (prayer for travellers)

The Rohingyas are a Muslim people, persecuted by fear and forgotten by the world. Even though they have inhabited Birmania for generations, their rights – including their civil rights- have been denied throughout history. They have been victims of rampant persecution and hate from their own governments. The Rohingyas can’t travel, get married or own land without permission. It seems that the only thing they have a right to have, is persecution itself. These natives of Arakan – currently Rackine, the second poorest area of Birmania- are discriminated against by everyone. They are discarded immigrants, forgotten by the world. Bitter history would make them seem a despicable threat to their detractors: phantom rivals that they persecute by land and by sea. May Mother Earth protect them, let their pain end and may they fly far away towards a sky of peace and freedom.

2. Prayer for the Baltic people.

The inhabitants of Estonia, Latvia, Livonia, Courland, East Prussia and Lithuania, countries surrounding the Baltic Sea, were slaves for many, many years. They were victims of the pain caused by Nazi domination. This region of the planet- previously known as the Soviet Union- is full of hope and optimism, but it has a history of persecution written in blood. The ghosts of pain and slavery have marked its skies. Sweden, Norway, Russia, Finland, Poland Germany and Denmark are part of this group of nations situated near the Baltic Sea, and even so, some of them have been their oppressors. Once again, the desire for power and human selfishness has left its mark. May all people find their centre ¿? , may the breeze of peace and restoration not diminish and may these lands be filed with love!

Plegaria musulmanes 3. Prayer for the Muslim people.

Muslim lands are comprised of 46 nations. They extend from Africa, Asia and Europe. Even though they are vastly different from each other by economic, historic and ethnic characteristics, they are all united by one religion:
Islam is an ideology that came about in the VII century, by its prophet Mohammed. Some of these countries for a long time belonged to the Turkish Empire and in WWI some of them were annexed to colonial European empires. None the less, most of them gained independence after WWII. These new Muslim countries have not managed to generalize justice, or equal rights, there exists great difference between them. Oil and riches that some- like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Brunei- posses show great contrast with other countries that are among the poorest in the world- like Afghanistan and Sudan- which are not helped by their population growth. Over the last several decades, these countries have been enveloped in multiple conflicts that reach global dimensions.

We don’t know what destiny awaits the territories occupied by Palestine and Israel. This land is drenched in innocent blood. An idyllic God, misinterpreted by various doctrines, keeps them in constant hate between brothers and intervention by distant lands only serves to increase conflict, placing the entire planet in great risk. This is all due to misunderstood deities, which have been drawn up by selfishness. May divine light be manifest and may it give discernment to each man and woman from these sister nations!

4. Prayer for Syria.

One of the most devastating wars of the XXI century began in Syria, in 2011. Instigated and inspired by other conflicts that had been taking place since 2010 in some Arab regions, they led to groups of citizens rising up against the state in a series of protests. The rebellion demanded respect for human rights and they accused the government of bloody and violent corruption. The state responded mercilessly and so a widespread conflict was born, where leading major powers like Russia, China and USA have taken an interest. The Syrian civil war in 2014 already had a death toll of more than 200 thousand, of these, 63 thousand were civilians. More refugees keep adding up to the alarming number of 3 million. In the midst of the conflict, the Syrian government has presented diplomatic crises with Turkey, Israel and Lebanon: we are facing absolute chaos and the incapacity to dialogue reigns on all sides of the conflict. Diverse organizations accuse them of having committed grave human rights violations, as well as war crimes.
May universal transmutation wait no longer, and may hate end! May friction disappear! May mercy reign and may the Mother Goddess suckle them all!

5. Prayer for the land of Israel-Palestine

Since 1917 this blessed peoples’ critical situation interweaves itself, in search for a national Jewish home. The Balfour declaration published in the United Kingdom on November 2nd of that year, already pointed to the offering of a niche for this historically persecuted people.
Instigated unrest rears its head throughout time. Israeli and Palestinian land is one and the same. Fear and pain have provoked nefarious exoduses, showing us as the worst species of the planet. The much bombed Gaza Strip is also Holy Land, but it seems that in those areas there exists no respect or right to a decent life. Religion doesn’t seem to help at all. This is a prayer for all Palestinians, Israelis, and Arabs. It is a deep supplication for the Holy Land and for all cultures throughout history that have inhabited it.

6. Prayer for the Huichol of the Mexican Sierra.

These are the children of the Western Sierra Madre – of Nayarit and Jalisco- that remain pure since the times of the Conquest and notwithstanding the imposition of modern Mestizo culture.
Its sense of community, its devotion to the earth and its simplicity, contrast with its wonderful multicolour artwork. Its mysticism is born from the iridescent blue of the sea, bathed in the immense light of Mother Moon. There are very few ethnic people in Mexico that keep their original beliefs, cults and traditions at such profound levels, as the Huichol.
They are warriors of the supernatural. They are an artistic people that have remained unscathed from outside influence along the centuries. They are guardians of Peyote. Creators of art full of wonderful symbols made with multicoloured beads and worsted. The growth of modern civilization has deprived them of their sacred lands. Cultural imposition, growth policy and mining projects threaten their rights.
May this prayer reach far, on wings of blue butterflies! May ancestral culture that is the leading force of their lives, be respected and their humanity remain intact! May their aquifers be not affected by mining! And may eternal spirits come forth in defence of the home of their gods!

7.Prayer for the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Located on the Himalayas - between India and China- we find a dreamland country. The happiest country on Earth: with less than 1 million inhabitants, in less than 34 square kilometres. This country defines the quality of life of its people by the measure of their happiness. This is known as Gross National Happiness, as opposed to the over rated Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and in this way it establishes equilibrium of spiritual and material values. This is definitely an example to be followed by all the nations of the planet.
Their two most important spiritual pillars are Buddhism and Hinduism. Unfortunately, with the passing of time, their stability is being threatened by poverty, unemployment and foreign debt. Today I raise a supplication for this natural sanctuary, full of tireless monks and prayers! I ask the Great Spirit that the ghosts of money and modernization don’t break its wings and that happiness remain its banner, so that its light might be transmitted to the world in this time of rebirth.

8.Prayer for the women of Turkey.

Before the watching eyes of the entire world, turkey is just one more country. Muslim by choice, its archaic patriarchal system has covered its victim heroines with a veil of doubt and mystery. Fear and inequality are present in the extreme and are the cause of much pain. Domestic violence, justice executions (murder in the name of honour), induced suicide and discrimination, are part of everyday life. Exhaustion starts to be evident. Despite new legal policies and a greater openness to the European Community, to be born a man or a woman marks a vast difference in the life of citizens of this ancient empire. “Crystal angels with broken wings, basted with metal”, that is how we could describe its women.
This prayer cries out for the elimination of the chasm that exists between what the law ordains and what custom dictates. May equality be a reality now! May the winds of change take these dark veils and may the rights of these people be restored! May divine mercy cover their lands and soften the hearts of their men! And may a new order come to give freedom!

In the centre of Africa, in the Congo, hunters live in the equatorial forests, groups of humans characterized by their short stature. I speak of the Pigmies. They have been exploited throughout history, undermined and exhibited as circus attractions.
They have no rights or citizenship. These slaves of pain have always been beaten and used by their own ancestral neighbours. Despite more than 70 thousand years of history, these small singers have not been respected by many. The Pigmies protect their life with extremely complex songs that seem to be a cry for help, to the Immensity. Their mantras based on butterfly wings are the intricate expression of an ancestral people.
May their songs rise up to the sky and may a thousand butterflies carry the message of hope, may the creative spirit of the Jengi forest protect them and fill them with love.

The cradle of philosophy rocks in uncertainty; it becomes a childless house. More and more humans leave its coasts searching a haven, poverty flirts in the absence of the Gods of Olympus.
After the past 5 years, the Greek crisis is nearing a point of definitions that will have profound consequences for all 28 countries of the European Union.
Just one of its mausoleums, just one of its architectural works, could pay for the millions that comprise its foreign debt. Their Human Heritage seems to have been erased from everyone’s mind. The politics of its European Union brothers seem to warn that the only thing of ay importance is the Euro. Austerity could not be more severe in this country. Even so, Greece does not give up and it tries to re-establish itself, taking leave of a deceiving brotherhood that has only led them to poverty.
May the deep blue of its Aegean Sea vibrate its harmony with the Cosmos! May equilibrium return! May freedom be bestowed on all of its lands! May its islands be more prosperous and may the suffering end! Free and Eternal Greece.

The conflict between Israelis and Palestinians seems to be interminable. Hundreds of thousands of persons are shipwrecked in their search for freedom. They cross the Mediterranean, mainly from Syria and Turkey.
In 2015, the Muslim state has cast out a massive amount of immigrants that little by little reach different coasts of Europe looking for a breath of reconcilement. Different reactions surprise the world. While Germany seemed to open its borders, others raise up barricades to avoid their brothers.
The exodus continues and the waves of the sea keep dragging down innocent victims. Hopelessness and fear invade Europe and selfishness riles up furious multitudes as a result of the arrival of the innocents.
The die is cast. No one wants to be obliged to take on foreign pain. Hearts are hardened, some from pain, others from fear and from the selfishness that characterizes the beings of this Earth.
The time for unification and imminent change has arrived. The end has begun; the time of truth is here.
May humanity learn its lesson and may everyone open their hearts to freedom. May war not be in vain, may the Queen Mother protect them. May Yemanjá manifest herself and give maternal shelter to all those abandoned by their gods. That from her heart, crossed by a sword, emerge hope in this new time of infinite pain. Peace be to people of this planet, rest and health to the immigrants of current times.

12. Prayer for the genocides.

Genocides happen all the time, all over the world; in plain disinterested sight of a tired world.
Despite de fact of 30 thousand years of coexistence, irrational desires for extermination prevail. Dozens of holocausts have occurred. Already into the XXI century, we are still staining humanity’s sad history with blood.
Now a days, when we speak of Peace, we couldn´t be farther from reality.

Here follows a taste of the self flagellation to which we, the citizens of this planet, have exposed ourselves:
The Palestinian holocaust (1920- to this present day), the Kurdish genocide (1988), Cannibalism in Uganda (1971), Massacre in Ruanda (1962-1994), the Cambodian hell headed by Pol Pot, the Viet Nam war (1964-1967), the French massacre in Argelia (1956-1962), the destruction of Dresden (1945), the WWI, with more than 15 million victims (1914-1918).
WWII with its 70 million deaths (1935-1945), the Jewish holocaust (1933-1945), the Stalinist purges and famine, terror in the Congo caused by Leopold II (1835-1909), the ravages caused by the British Empire (1799-1834), Europe’s America conquest of America with over 120 million exterminated natives (1812), the fall of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), religious war in France (1562-1598), the Mongol massacre (XII century), the Crusades (1096-1444) – these are just a few of the most nefarious crimes on the planet, and let’s not forget genocide in Guatemala and Chile.
I close 2015 with a Peace banner, its message: the cease of hate and union between all peoples. With brilliant mourning that gives thanks and forgives, that vibrates intensely from Cusco to India. That pleads forgiveness from the Creative Spirit, forgiveness for all souls that are impoverished by hatred, selfishness and fear.
May humanity learn that we are all ONE and that Love is the way to live in society: an ancestral wish, of which we still have not become conscious.
May one voice be raised that prays for all humans, but may it be raised in silence. May mercy be with us, may a song for freedom be heard loud and strong from the Baltic and cover all of humanity, may all voices be one in one sole prayer, one sole clamour. May this lament reach the heart of our Mother Earth. May forgiveness and Freedom be granted us.
May the ancient chants of Buddhist monks be multiplied and may Peace reign in the hearts of all persons of this planet.
